Let's Look at Membership Costs Twenty-five dollars go far -- $13 to our national pledge and $12 toward our obligation to the state League How do we obtain other monies? We are grateful to members who make contribution over and above their $25 dues. We receive support from the community by our direct mail solicitation. And, we earn money through member-work at vote counting for organizations who value League's expertise in that area. Every member can make another contribution -- by paying their dues on time! Do you know it costs 35¢ to send you a reminder; the second notice costs another 35. Then we try to call you and send a third notice with a last Voter (that costs 22¢ to mail since we cannot include it with the bulk mailing). So look at your dues as a bargain and respond quickly when dues are due.
