Election Laws Honolulu members took part in the state study on election laws at the November first meeting. The Board received the study committees re-port and has sent its reflections of the members feelings on to the state committee. Members recommend amending Hawaii's election laws regarding absentee voting, mail balloting and registration by mail. State will now "digest" the re-ports of all Leagues and finalize the consensus positions -- in time for this year's legislative session. Lobbyists will be needed. Come forward and tell State if you'd like to follow this subject.
