Education - Joint Meeting Libby Oshiyama and Marion Saunders, co-chairs of the State League's schools study, and Betty Rogers (wearing her AAUW education hat) are planning an interesting program for both LWV and AAUW members. Exchange teachers and students will relate their impressions of the alternative education programs and opportunities found in the Department of Education (DOE). What changes do YOU want in the learning climate? Come join in exploring teachers' attitudes and those of students who have had experience in alter-native education programs. AAUW and LWV have similar positions on education and this meeting is a perfect example of how the two organizations can join forces to address this provocative issue.
