City Council Advisory Committee

Mary Frances Sutphen represents the League on an advisory panel established by the City Council to submit recommendations on a proposal within the draft Land Use Ordinance (LUO) which would restrict the building of schools and churches in residential areas.
Rhonda Griswold attended the first meeting of the panel, which is chaired by Aaron Levine of the Oahu Development Conference, and outlined the League's position in this area. League had spoken in favor of the LUO draft statement at an earlier public hearing. (See report of League Planning and Zoning Committee.)
