News Bits Hawaii State Plan - Public Participation November 7, 1985, 7 p.m., at the Benjamin Parker Elementary School Cafetorium, Kaneohe, will be the last public meeting on the State Plan Policy Council's draft of recommendations for amendments to the State Plan, Written statements must reach DPED no later than November 12, 1985. Copies are available at the DPED office and may be obtained by calling 548-3016. The eight-page tabloid in the newspapers gave complete wording. Several League members have served on advisory committees for the functional plans which supplement the State Plan. All members should keep abreast of these guiding documents.
