A Nationwide Video Conference on Nuclear Arms Control
Before the historic meeting between President Reagan and General Secretary Gorbachev a key opportunity will be provided to gain an understanding of the present situation between the US and USSR, the increasing risk of nuclear war, and the issues that will be under discussion.
The television conference will be shown on Oahu on Tuesday, November 12, from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Oceanic Cable-vision's Channel 20, Also KHET, Channel 11, will show excerpts of the conference on its Dialogue show, entitled "The Nuclear Summit," with discussion by local panelists of these issues Friday, November 15, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. throughout Hawaii.
Those who have Oceanic Cablevision are encouraged to share with others who are concerned.
