What is the Alice Scott Memorial Fund? The Alice Scott Memorial Fund was established when long-time League member Alice Scott died. It was named for her, but with the major intent to provide a way for people to acknowledge League friends through tax deductible contributions. They are placed in the State's LWV Education Fund. The principal will remain intact and the interest will be used for the many specific voter service projects that come up during the year. The fund has had several contributions, and we are pleased to acknowledge a recent contribution from another long-time member, Kate Kortschak, in memory of her husband, and member, Hugo.
