News-bitsIf you haven't already seen it, be sure to catch State League President Peter Herman and Vice-President Carol Whitesell featured in an article in the Fall issue of Alexander & Baldwin's AMPERSAND. The article on the League was researched (with Carol and Pat Shutt's aid in combing our files) and written by Marguerite Rho, editor. It starts provocatively with "Are the women of the United States big enough to see their opportunity." It must be read to find the answer: Come to the office and spend a few minutes learning of League's past and future as seen from the editor's eyes. We thank Marguerite Rho for the article and Alexander and Baldwin for the much appreciated generous financial support!
