Coming Vote Counts

Leaguers are advised to get their fingers in nimble shape and their reading glasses polished because we have four vote counts scheduled for the months of February and March.

Look over the following vote count schedule and call the office to place your name in one or more of the slots. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Ph. 531-7448

VOTECOUNT SCHEDULE

February 8 HSTA STRIKE VOTE

8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. NBC Arena 10 workers needed

February 27 HAWAIIAN TELEPHONE CREDIT UNION

8:30 a.m. - completion (about 1:30 p.m.) Credit Union office 1181 Alakea Street 20 workers needed

For about a week prior to the actual vote count, help is needed to sort and check envelopes as they are received at the League office. Give Nan Luter a call if you can help (732-6013), or call the office and leave word.

March 5 - 10 PEARL HARBOR CREDIT UNION

March 5, 7, 9 (Mon. Wed. Fri.) Credit Union office at shipyard

First shift: 7:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Second shift: 11:30 - 4:00 p.m.

March 6, 8 (Tues. Thurs.) Naval Supply Center at Pearl Harbor

First shift: 8:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Second shift: 11:30 - 4:00 p.m.

For all five days, one person is needed for each shift. For the morning hours, Claire would like people with passes to Pearl Harbor. Letters will be supplied others who will present them at the sentry gate to receive temporary passes.

March 10 Vote count at Sheraton Hotel 6:00 p.m. to completion (Dinner included) 12 workers needed

March 17 & 21 MILILANI TOWN ASSOCIATION

March 17 8:30 - 5:30 at Shopping Center

First shift: 8:30- 12:30 Second shift: 11:30 - 5:30

2 workers needed for each shift (or one worker who will take a friend along just to keep from getting too lonely)

March 21 6:00 p.m. to completion Mililani Town Recreation Center III
