Annual Meeting DATE: APRIL 16, 1983 PLACE: HALE KOA HOTEL 2055 Kalia Road TIME SCHEDULE: 9:30 - 11:00 Business Meeting 11:00 - 12:00 Panel on Toxic Substances 12:15 Lunch (Registration form on pg. 2) Leaguers who will be attending the annual meeting are asked to come prepared to act on the budget proposal for 1983-84. (See March Voter for detailed explanation of each item and this issue for some corrections to the proposed budget.) Note the proposed raising of single dues from $20 to $25 and the household dues from $30 to $35. Also study the pro-gram suggestions for next year in the March Voter and be prepared to offer ideas for improving League's work. Barbara Farwell and her Natural Resources subcommittee on Hazardous Wastes have pre-pared a program around the toxic substances that surround us in this modern world with people's increased reliance on chemicals for life's conveniences.
