LWVUS President, Ruth Hinerfeld, to Appear on Public TV ProgramRuth Hinerfeld, LWVUS President, will be one of the participants interviewed in the 30-minute telecast over Hawaii Public Television, KHET. "Women and the Economy," a look at the impact of the economy on today's women, airs Wednesday, February 2 at 10:00 p.m. Other women interviewed are Phyllis Schlafly, president of Eagle Forum; Gloria Johnson, Coalition of Labor Union Women; and Leonora Cole-Alexander, Director of the Women's Bureau, U.S. Dept. of Labor. The program is hosted by Jean Stapleton, formerly "Edith" of "Archie Bunker." The half-hour special also takes a nationwide look at the effect of the economy on working women.
