Natural Resources Committee Meeting WHEN: October 20 11:30-1:30 WHERE: League Office We will be hearing reports on Hazardous Waste research, Air Quality Regulations revision, Clean Air Act renewal, Nuclear Waste Education projects, Energy and Water. The videotape, Slowly Dying Embers, which was produced by Hawaii LWV's Natural Resources Committee in cooperation with some other organizations, will be "uplinked" from Pacific Public Broadcasting Network to 169 mainland big city stations. We will be sending press kits to each station and information to each League in those cities. Those same Leagues will be asked to check with their Local stations to see if they will be broadcasting the tape. They will also be given an opportunity to offer the publication, Nuclear Waste and the Pacific with with their logo, after the video. Anna Hoover
