Olive Dille Nelson Olive Dille Nelson, a League member since 1974, passed away on Thursday, July 8, at Kuakini Medical Center. She was 85 years of age at the time of her death. According to a beautiful letter sent us by her daughter, Joyce Nelson, a memorial service was held at First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu on July 27. A memorial fund has been established for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. The last paragraph of Joyce's letter reads: "Mother had great respect for the League and much affection for those she knew there, and missed her work with you when she no longer was strong enough to help out. She was at Rehab when the ERA deadline came, and was outraged as we all were. Enclosed is a donation to the new effort and my own membership dues. Both come with my gratitude for your friendship to my mother, and your efforts for us all." Olive will be missed by all of us who knew her. We thank Joyce for her letter and the substantial donation which we have passed on to the National ERA fund.
