League Sponsors Women Artists TIRED OF COUNTING IN LOTS OF 50 AND BUNDLING BALLOTS? We have an exciting new way to help the League raise funds: The State League is sponsoring an art show at the AMFAC Plaza Exhibition Room on August 28 through September 14. The works of art will be by 13 of Hawaii's leading artists -- all of whom happen to be women. For a percentage of the profits on the sales, the League needs to provide sitters for the show. The sitters' duties will be to sit in a lovely air-conditioned room surrounded by works of art for the purpose of handling sales of the art work and making sure that pieces do not leave the gallery. We also need donations of pupus for opening night -- to which we are all invited. PLEASE CALL PAT SHUTT and volunteer to sit the gallery. If you don't call her, she will call you.
