Countdown for ERA ONE MORE YEAR -- that's all the time that's left for the ratification of the ERA! We're lucky -- Hawaii was the first state to ratify ERA and we haven't had to fight battles here. But if ERA goes down to final defeat, women may find newly opened doors closing once more. It seems forever since the last state ratified, doesn't it? In the next year, many women and men will be working in the unratified states to get ERA passed. WHAT CAN WE DO? We can keep ERA before the public. We can support, financially, ERA forces in unratified states. We can make sure the predicted demise of ERA is not used as an excuse for legislation unfavorable to women. ONE MORE YEAR...THREE MORE STATES...LET'S ALL DO OUR PART!
