Election Day Anecdotes... A fellow volunteer (union man) said to Anne-Marie Duca as they were monitoring at the Computer Center, "Is the League running this election, too? They always do such a good job!" Jerry Hess watching the returns noted that her precinct totals at the first print-out was 0 - 0 - 0. She said she felt her precinct was really expressing itself. Pat Shutt said one voter stormed out of the selection booth furious because his candidate was not listed. "They always give me defective ballots - every year!" Pat suggested he turn his ballots over.
