Vote Count + You = LWV MoneyLeague supervised the voting for Hawaii Teamsters & Allied Workers Local 996 on December 18. We also counted the votes that evening. Thanks to workers -- Barbara Farwell, Carol Whitesell, Jean Ko, Helen Griffin, and Myrne Blomquist. The amount earned for League was $217.78. I know you are all waiting to hear about the Hotel & Restaurant election. League volunteers worked 820 hours to earn $3,284.85. The official report will appear in a future VOTER, but I want to thank you all for your help and support on this job. I really worried about the bad weather some of you drove in to get to Unity House. It showed how dedicated you are to the League. It was a long week! Mary Ellen Reed |
