Toot Your Horn

When asked to be on the Honolulu Board for the League of Women Voters, I called my old friend Anne Marie Duca for advice. She helpfully suggested that I might enjoy Public Relations because it could be fun and "there wouldn't be much to do." Feeling very smug, I accepted the nomination, was accepted by League, and was quickly disillusioned by League's decision to push for a membership increase this year. A membership drive means more work for a PR person.

But I am "up" for the challenge, and with the help of the PR committee (Judy Jakus, Helen Perz and Pamela Pickens), I plan to get a lot of exposure for LWV.

However, we need the help of every member. So please let us know what you are doing in League so that we can spread the word.
