By-Law Changes The Board of Directors of the LWV of Honolulu proposes the following change in the by-laws, in addition to those published in the Jan. Voter. As you will note in the proposed 1979-80 Budget in this issue, the Board is recommending an increase in dues to $20, which requires an amendment to Article VI, Section 2. This section now reads: Sec. 2. Dues. Annual dues of $15 shall be payable on the anniversary of the month of joining. The yearly dues shall include per capita assessment by National and subscription service. The Board is proposing two possible changes to consider and act on at Annual Meeting. The first change has the advantage of not having to make amendments every time there is a dues change. The second is the method we've used in the past. Sec. 2. Dues. Annual dues, to be determined at Annual Meeting, shall be payable on the anniversary of the month of joining. The yearly dues shall include per capita assessment by National and subscription service. The membership shall be informed of a proposed dues change at least one month before Annual Meeting. Sec. 2. Dues. Annual dues of $20 shall be payable on the anniversary of the month of joining.
