Have Van... Will TravelTEAMSTERS UNION ELECTION COMING UP: December 6, 7, 8 (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) the Teamsters Union is equipping a van with a LEAGUER in charge, a driver and a business agent. You will visit companies with more than 30 Teamster employees to allow them to vote on the site. Volunteer for a shift. It will be educational and fun. Shifts will be 6 a.m. to 12 noon and 12 noon to 6 p.m. On the following week, December 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) a Leaguer will work at Unity House on Ena Road to accept ballots of those who didn't work the week before. Shifts will be 6 a.m. to 12 noon and 12 noon to 6 p.m. Again on December 18, 19, 20 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) we will cover Unity House as the previous week. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 21 will be the vote count. With this system there should be a 98% turnout so we need talliers from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. PLEASE VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME. We need the money.
