LWV of Honolulu - Proposed Budget 1978-79LWV of Honolulu - Proposed Budget 1978-79 The Budget Committee has arrived at the following. proposed budget for 1978-79 on the assumption that the Board's priorities will be the same as for last year: Namely, Public Relations, Finance, and Membership. We have been advised by National that the Convention will be asked to increase the Per Member Payment (PMP) from $5.50 to $10.00. Because of this vastly increased expenditure, and the fact that our income from vote counts will greatly decrease, we feel it will be necessary to mount another fund-raising drive, as well as seeking new ways to increase membership and contributions. The Committee was unwilling to increase dues at this time, fearing to discourage new members and perhaps lose some renewals.
