Finance Drive Launched The joint Honolulu/State League finance drive is now underway. The first batch of solicitation letters was mailed by the end of October. There will be two or three more mailings at one-month intervals, to permit follow-up. Our original plans were to take the month of March for Money and Membership; the drive has been moved up to take advantage of the terrific League visibility afforded by the Presidential Debates. The Finance Committee will need help making follow- up telephone calls to those who have_ been sent solicitation letters. Experienced League members (mostly board & former board members) will be asked to make any personal calls on prospective donors to explain the League's program & service to the community.
