REMINDER TO VOTER REGISTRARS

The deadline for accepting registrations for the primary election is September 7.registrars are urged to turn in to the County Clerk's Office all affidavits dated September 7 or before by 10 a.m. on September 8. If you do not do so there is a good chance that the voters' names will not appear on the list for the primary election. You still may accept registrations for the general election only up until midnight, October 12.

"YOU AND ELECTION '72" : a series of talks sponsored jointly by the Richards Street YWCA and the Honolulu League of Women Voters. Enclosed with this Voter is a program for the series which begins September 7. We of the Voters Service Committee think that you will find the meetings stimulating and informative. LWV publications will be on sale and a registrar will be in attendance to register voters.

Public parking is readily accessible on Richards Street. See you all there!

Newsmakers: Carla Coray is one of only two women Republican State chairmen (until very recently the only one) in the country. Eureka Forbes was the only woman on the

Republican platform-writing committee.

Both are members of the LWV of Honolulu.
