Meet the League CoffeesKANEOHE COFFEE--Sept 6 9:30 am at Pohai /Tani Retirement Home, 45-090 Namoku St. (12th floor lounge). LEEWARD COFFEE—Sept. 14, 9:30 a.m. at the Aiea Library, 99-143 Moanalua Rd. DO YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO LIVES IN THE ABOVE AREAS who might be interested in getting to know something about the League? That is the purpose of the upcoming coffees---to introduce League to the women of these areas and, if successful, form new units there in the future. We already have several members from the Kaneohe area and many attend the Windward Morning unit, which has been full to overflowing the past year, so we feel we have a good base to form a new unit there and attract additional members. Kaneohe area members are especially invited to attend this coffee. We do not have many members in the Leeward area because we have not been active there, but quite a few people have called or expressed interest in League as we would like to get a unit started there to become active in that section of Oahu. PLEASE HELP BY CALLING ANY FRIENDS YOU HAVE THAT LIVE IN THESE AREAS and invite them to attend a coffee, or give me their names and I will call them. Marian Wilkins |
