Charter Update

Each of the commission members received a copy of the National publication "Channels for Change." The pamphlet offers various approaches to government organization and seemed appropriate for this group as they continue to discuss possible changes in the Charter which could indeed restructure our present form of government.
Please review the Charter consensus (June 1971 Voter) so that you can see where commission thinking aligns with our position.
Following our testimony on February 4th (see your March Voter) the commissioners have asked for and received further thinking on the ethics Portion. There is a strong possibility that the Code of Ethics will be included in the Charter Watch the paper for developments and be ready to help with further Action and/or Voters Service on this program item.
