The By-laws state: These Bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the voting members present and voting at the annual Meeting, provided the amendments were submitted to the membership in writing at least one month in advance of the meeting. By-Law Change In anticipation of the change in dues resulting from the vote on the financial plan at the National Convention, the Bylaws for the League of Women Voters of Honolulu will have to be amended to be in accordance with this change. At our annual meeting a motion to make this change contingent upon the change at Convention will be presented to the members. Please read and be prepared to vote on the following: Present wording Article VI, section 2. Dues. Annual dues of 810.00, including subscription service, shall be payable April 1. Any member, who fails to pay her dues within three months after they become payable shall be dropped from the membership rolls. New members since January 1, 1970, will be billed on the anniversary of the month they joined, with .a grace period of three months. Proposed wording Article VI, section 2. Dues. Annual dues of 815.00 are payable on the anniversary date of the member's association with the League of Women Voters. A grace period of three months will be granted
