Go-See TourNOVEMBER 18 & NOVEMBER 25
Want to see the City Council in cession? Visit your councilman's office? Take a tour of the City-County Building? Here's your chance! Whether you are a new member, seasoned Leaguer, or interested by-stander mark your calendar right now for one of the two dates when we'll be visiting city council in November. We'll assemble in the city hall parking lot off Hotel Street at 1 pop:. sharp, have a quick briefing by our official League Council Observer, tour City Hall, and the Councilmen's offices, then we'll be seated in the Council Chambers when they convene at 2 p.m.
Do remember that we are going as League OBSERVERS ONLY -- our purpose is to see and hear, not to be seen or heard. Don't miss this opportunity to become better acquainted with YOUR local government.
For your convenience we've scheduled the two sides of the mountains on different dates. However, if you can't go with your Unit, you may attend the other date. Those who need to leave before Council is over may feel free td do so.
