December Unit Preview Charter Amendment and Local Program Planning
Almost a year has passed since we reached consensus on Diamond Head, so here is a refresher on the wording of our position:
"Because Diamond Head is a scenic asset known throughout the
world, the LIU of Honolulu feels that this monument should
be preserved and that this can best be accomplished by minimum development in the area. Diamond Head Road should be kept
as a scenic drive, and the residential area on the makai side of the road should eventually be converted to park use."
TUESDAY - DECEMBER 12, 1967 DIAMOND HEAD PUBLIC HEARING - 2:00 P.M.
Council Chambers - City Hall
Whether you are a regular at City Hall or have yet to go--this hearing is a must for every Leaguer!
