Something Special Urban Renewal Panel Discussion Action in the Community Calendar of Events Home Rule for D.C. Accolade

Accolade Our Local Agenda Committee has received, a letter from Mr. Stanley, Kreutzer, attorney for the New York City Board of Ethics. In it, Mr. Kreutzer congratulates them and the League on the progress we have made. He says that it is "a feather in our hat" to be consulted by the political leaders of the city, and "a tribute to the public value we have inspired." Also, the procedural rule changed by the City Council is a giant step forward. The Local Agenda Committee deserves much appreciation from all of us for having done so much. True they needed the backing of the whole League, but where would we have been without their hours and hours of study and research. If you'd like to jump on the bandwagon, they will always welcome new members on the committee. Refer to the Calendar of Events for their meeting dates and place.
