Dues and Member Contributions A WORD ABOUT DUES Dues ($5.00 per year) become due in April (delinquent in October). Persons joining for the first time may pay their dues now and begin receiving publications immediately -- thus receiving 14 months membership for the price of 12! AND ANOTHER WORD ABOUT MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS Did you know that your $5.00 dues does not cover the costs of membership? Dues are kept low so that no woman interested in the purposes of the League is denied membership because she cannot afford it. Each year during the Finance Drive, as we ask leading citizens and business firms to support our program and purpose by contributing financial help, so we ask our members to also consider giving us an additional measure of financial support. Funds are never solicited from members at any other time of the year. These contributions may be made now during the Finance Drive -- or paid when you pay your annual dues. tear off here -- tear off here I would like to contribute to the League of Women Voters of Honolulu.
