T.V. Time for Honolulu League The League of Women Voters of Honolulu has been asked to participate in a series of interviews of the candidates for Mayor, U.S. House and U.S. Senate. We have accepted the challenge, and the programs will be seen on the following dates -- Oct. 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30, and Nov. 2. The program is WOMEN'S NEWS CONFERECE, and is seen on Channel 4, 7:30 a.m. (on the windward side it's Channel 12). Be sure to tune in on as many of the shows as you can to find out what the candidates' views are on nonpartisan questions by the League. If you are interested in participating in any or all of these shows, give Nancy Dykes a call. The questions will be formulated ahead of time and each show is taped. It's really exciting -- the first program was enjoyed by all. Have you seen of the TV slides and radio spot announcement provided by the League? Watch for them.
