Hilo League Mrs. Martha Black has been going to Hilo to help organize their League. There are now 25 paid up members. All of the Board members have full time jobs. Liesel Philips went along the last time to explain the workings of the Honolulu League program, and also to reinforce many of the Hilo contacts. The members there look forward to meeting our memebers from Honolulu. Jan. 24 will be their first general membership meeting. On Feb. 1, they will have the first board meeting and go calling with Mrs. Black on the county officials including the president of the Board of Supervisors. Feb. 3 the Board will have an institute type of meeting with problems gone over with the various individual chairmen. Good luck to the Hilo League!
