The Local Agenda Committee would like to call your attention to an excellent two-day program on "Community Solid Refuse Disposal" sponsored by the M. S. and Hawaii State Department of Health.

The following 2 sessions seem particularly interesting:

  1. Thursday, April 20, 1:30 p.m. Criteria for Selecting a Disposal Method (Paull).

  2. Friday, April 21, 1:30 p.m. A Planned Commercial Composting Program for Phoenix, Arizona.

This program will be conducted at Mabel Smyth Auditorium as part of an "Environmental Health Institute" which will include a program on "Orientation in Air Pollution." Sanitary Engineers from the mainland will come here for this Institute.
