Flyers Will Be the Final Effort on Charter Election The League of Women Voters and the Public Affairs Committee of the YWCA have joined forces to urge people to vote for the Commission's Charter. Twenty thousand flyers are being printed for distribution on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 12, 13, and 14. The Voters Service Committee is planning a gala "kickoff" meeting on Tuesday, June 10th, at 7:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 1040 Richard Street. The meeting will be short, flyers will be given out and assignments made, and refreshments will be served! This is a big job but with the help of all League members (and their friends) it can be done in real "League" fashion!
