In Memoriam With the death of Mrs. Byron Meurlott, the League has lost an active and devoted member. Mrs. Meurlott was a member of the Board of Directors of the Honolulu League at the time of her death. Born in Tukoo, Maui, she was a life-long resident of the Islands. A social worker by training, she was at one time a director of the Liliuokalani Trust Child Welfare Department. She also held the position of pupil guidance for the Department of Public Instruction. At the time of her death, she was a teacher at Waimanalo School. devoted her life to children of Hawaii, particularly the underdeveloped child. Louise was loved by people in all walks of life.
