Annual Meeting Featuring Mr. Frank Lombardi

Mr. Frank Lombardi, Territorial Planning Director, will be the main speaker at our Annual Meeting. He will speak on "Planning for the Future of Hawaii." Mr. Lombardi has been asked to focus his talk on the relationship between county planning, territorial planning and city charter provisions. He has also agreed to speak on water development, water conservation, and the relationship between federal, territorial and county agencies.
Mr. Lombardi was formerly chief of the projects planning division, San Francisco Department of City Planning. After graduating from the University of California in landscape- design, he served with the army in Europe and studied British planning methods in the Division of Planning and Housing, Ministry of Health and Local Government in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
A dinner meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 19, at the Armed Services YMCA at 7:00 p.m. The cost of the dinner will be $2.00. Be sure to make your reservation by calling Mrs. Juanita Braude at 921-371 before Tuesday, March 18. This will be an opportunity to invite your friends to an extra special meeting.
