Charter News The Charter Commission is now working on the Fourth Draft. This is the draft that will be used for the public hearings to be held in January. These meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in the following areas: January 7 Farrington High School January 9 Kaimuki High School January 10 McKinley High School January 14 Aina Haina Elementary School January 15 Castle High School January 16 Waipahu High School January 17 Wahiawa Elementary School January 21, 22, 23, 24 City Hall - These four hearings at City Hall will take up specific sections of the charter and are the ones at which League proposals will be presented. League members will want to attend hearings in the area in which they live. They may speak as individuals but not as League members. It is hoped all League members will plan to attend some of the hearings at City Hall -- more news on this in the January Bulletin.
