The League's 1958-59 National ProgramEvery League member has a voice in determining what the National Program of the League of Women Voters of the U.S. shall be. And here's how: Each local League is given the opportunity of submitting subjects it wants considered on the National Program. At the National Convention - to be held in Atlantic City, Georgia, in April 1958 - delegates from the local and state Leagues deliberate on these and arrive at a final program. "Can Spring Be Far Behind", contained in the October 1957 National Voter, offers excellent basic material for our November 13 discussions. Please make a special effort to read it; also, don't forget to bring your copy along to the meeting.
