Getting Acquainted with the LeagueLeague members are hostesses to their friends and neighbors at informal gatherings over coffee or tea cups during October. The purposes and activities of the League will be discussed, with often another League member helping the hostess as a resource person. Fifteen members have volunteered to be hostesses and six have already selected their dates. Virginia Ransburg with the help of Elizabeth Wray held her meeting on October 2nd; Lotty Canady and Mary Musgrove have invited friends for the 12th and Ruth Loomis for the 18th; Elizabeth Wray and Alison MacBride will have their groups gather during the third week of the month and Marion Saunders on the 21st. Membership Committee will be happy to make follow-up contacts and asks that the names of prospective members be submitted to Mrs. Alice Scott, chairman.
