Calendar of Events May Membership Meeting Our Bill Continued Through the Looking Glass Note Freedom Agenda Evaluated June Membership Meeting Welcome

Through the Looking Glass Note This year our League will be studying National Agenda Item II for the first time. "Conservation: Study of Water Resources" will be as fascinating as Alice's trip through the looking glass and Wonderland combined. The national picture is a bewildering tangle of some 16 federal agencies and conflicting or overlapping legislation. Our local picture finds several federal and territorial agencies plus two City and County of Honolulu boards. If you aren't already confused enough, from the geological standpoint our local water picture is practically the reverse of that which obtains throughout the mainland. Mrs. E. H. Wray, Chairman of the committee to be formed, hopes that a number of you will volunteer to work on some of the many questions outlined for study. Her number is 71-5213.
