Report to the Board of Directors of the League of Women Voters of Honolulu on the Proposed Budget for the Period from April 1, 1956 to March 31, 1957January 25, 1956
The Budget Committee presents herewith to the Board their recommendations for the proposed budget (1956-1957). The Committee is suggesting a few changes from the previous budget for the following reasons:
Delegates - Based on past records, it seemed that $450.00 for a two-year period would be adequate.
Audit - The League's accounts are sufficiently detailed and extensive to warrant paid professional services.
Equipment - Since very little equipment is owned by the League and since past records indicated very little expenditure, it seemed that $15.00 would be sufficient.
A membership figure of 125 would be more realistic than 140, based on the present membership and past records.
This leaves a deficit of $35.00 as the budget is presented.
