Jail Progress The Board of Supervisors has asked that a new jail receive priority in public building by sending its request to the Governor's Committee on Priorities, headed by Mr. Paul Thurston, Budget Director. You, too, can write to Mr. Thurston and his Committee pointing out the need for implementing with action the Legislature's approval of a new jail.
