May Membership MeetingLeague members have been hard at work in the lobbies and committee rooms of the Palace and both Charter and Jail bills still have a chance for passage at this writing. You can hear all about the latest developments at our first membership Meeting of the new League year to be held at the Y.W.CA. on Wednesday May 18, 7:30 P.M. A representative from the Community Committee for a New Jail and our own legislative committee will report. We also want to tell you about other plans for the coming year and to find out how you'd like to share in it. As our President says above, we hope you'll
