Looking Ahead in the League As we approach the end of 1954 and look forward to a New Year, a busy season lies ahead for the League. A legislative year is always busy, but the one ahead promises to top in interest and activity any we have known thus far. We have two action items that may be up for consideration in the coming Legislature… City Charter Commission, and the City-County jail, Committees are now mapping out plans for action and we hope in January to bring the full membership into discussion of these. Meanwhile, watch the newspapers for events which may be scheduled on short notice, and to which we hope all interested Leaguers will come.
