League Co-Sponsors Meeting to Hear Distinguished U.N. SpeakerThe League will have another distinguished guest speaker, this Wednesday, when it will co-sponsor, with the local U.N. group, a REPORT ON UNITED NATIONS ACTIVITIES IN THE FAR EAST, by Stephen M. Schwebel, Director of the New York office of World Federation of United Nations Associations, which includes Associations in 35 different nations. Mr. Schwebel is stopping over, briefly, in Honolulu, on his return from a field trip of several months, in which he has observed U.N. work in Thailand, Japan, and other Asiatic countries.
