Introducing Mrs. Pierce

Mrs. Pierce is Organization Secretary of the National League and will spend a month with us attending committee, board and membership meetings as well as giving time for radio interviews, individual conferences, etc. We are indeed fortunate to have her help at this time. She will have another month to vacation in the islands. It was in February 1951 that Mrs. Pierce joined the national staff. Wife of the late Professor Newton L. Pierce, she had lived in Princeton, New Jersey, since 1937, where she had been active in many civic organizations, including membership in the League of Women Voters of Princeton. She served on their board for several years.

A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mrs. Pierce now maintains her residence in Washington, D.C. She holds an A.B. degree from Northwestern University and has done graduate work at both Northwestern and the University of Chicago. She has also been on the staff of those universities.
