Japan: Taki Fujita, one of the founders of the Japanese LWV has been appointed Chief of the Women's and Minors' Bureau of the Labor Ministry.

Pakistan: The Begum Said Waheed urges us to send a team of a social worker and a political educator to her country, social work and the practice of citizenship going hand in hand.

Germany: Mrs. Dyke brought messages from all the German women, sponsored by the Carrie Chapman Catt Memorial Fund more than two years ago. She was immensely impressed with the spirit, the hard work, and the progress all of them are making in their various fields.
