Speaker on City-Manager Form of Government for January

The January membership meeting program has been planned by the Charter Study Committee to acquaint the membership with the City-Manager or Council-Manager form of government. They have been fortunate to secure a speaker who is a specialist in the field of government. Mr. Daniel W. Tuttle, Assistant Professor of Government at the University of Hawaii and Research Assistant at the Legislative Reference Bureau is the speaker. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Master's degree in government and he has taught government at that University and at the University of Wyoming before coming to Hawaii.

At this meeting the members will be asked to vote on the Charter Study Committee's recommendation which is outlined in the next column. Come prepared to do some good thinking and acting!
