High Commissioner of Trust Territory to Speak to League It will be a real privilege to hear Dr. Elbert D. Thomas, the first civilian High Commissioner of the Trust Territory speak at our July 18th meeting. His subject will be Federal Aid to Education; as a United States senator Dr. Thomas has done a great deal of work on education bills. He gave the Commencement address last month at the University of Hawaii and received an honorary degree at that time. During his short stay in the islands he has won many friends. You are urged to bring friends to this meeting in order to hear a well-informed speaker on this important subject.
