Meeting to Feature Board of Public Parks and Recreation Our National President Sends Wire to President Truman Study Group on Parks Board Coming Events Combat Inflation What Price Government Leaguers Celebrate Recognition Your Officers and Directors League Standards

Study Group on Parks Board Now that the committee members who have been studying the Board of Public Parks and Recreation are ready to present the results of their project, two discussion groups have been organized. One group will meet in the morning at 9:00 at the home of Mrs. W.B. Herter, 2377 East Manoa Road. January 26 and February 9 are the meeting dates for this group. Finance and administration of the Parks Board will be taken up at the first meeting and personnel and recreation facilities at the second. For those who cannot meet in the morning, another group will meet at 7:30 P.M. at the home of Miss Thelma Chun-Hoon, on January 29 and February 12. Miss Chun-Hoon lives above the Chun-Hoon Pharmacy on School Street near Nuuanu Street. Personnel and recreation facilities will be taken up on January 29 and finance and administration on February 12. Leaguers will have a chance to sign up for either group at the general membership meeting on January 17, or they may contact Mrs. Chappell, 69699.
